The coasters are designed to resist moderate temperatures from common hot beverages. It is not recommended to use them with extremely hot objects. You can place your hot coffee or tea cup on the coasters. However, they are not designed to resist extremely high temperatures, such as hot bakeware or items fresh from the oven.
Yes, the coasters are water-resistant and can be easily cleaned with a wet cloth.
